First Kate Middleton did it. Next her sister Pippa Middleton did it. Now Jennifer Aniston has jumped onto the fashion recycling bandwagon. Is this becoming a trend among celebrities?
According to a report from RadarOnline, Aniston was seen wearing an outfit to the screening of Five on Monday, and it was the same one she wore back in January to the People's Choice Awards. Good for you, Jen!
Some celebrities live in such worlds of excess that they would never dream of wearing the same outfit twice. Unfortunately many young people are picking up on that attitude of excess and greed. Shortly before Kate Middleton married Prince William last spring, it was noted that she was known for recycling her outfits. Her sister Pippa Middleton has been seen wearing repeat fashions a number of times as well. Now it seems Jennifer Aniston is doing it, too. This is such a great example to set. How wonderful if all celebrities would start recycling their outfits as well.
The outfit that Jennifer Aniston recycled is a form-fitting black slacks and vest ensemble. The lacy bra that just barely peeks up above the top of the vest gives the outfit a sexy and stylish feel, and the black shoes and gold accessories dress the pieces up to just the right degree. Jen was perfectly coördinated with boyfriend Justin Theroux, who also donned black for the event.
Five is a Lifetime original movie that "explores the impact that breast cancer has on people's lives." Jennifer Aniston directed the film.
It's really nice to see that even though Jennifer Aniston is worth millions of dollars, she's also not above wearing the same outfit to two public events. Other celebrities should follow her lead and start recycling outfits—as well as other items—to show the world that excess doesn't necessarily equal happiness.
